Finding the Missing Peace
We tend to think of peace in terms of an absence of something – an absence of conflict, stress, noise, war, and so on. However, this world’s idea of peace is different from God’s promised peace. Our notion of peace is temporary and dependent on circumstances which is why the Christmas period so often seems to accentuate the lack of peace, our stress and our loneliness. But Christmas is an invitation – an invitation to know Christ personally. It is an invitation to peace with God, which ultimately is the key to all peace.
