One of the core values of Australian Baptists is that as followers of Jesus we have been invited into his mission to make disciples who make disciples. Therefore, the Australian Baptist movement has a long history with mission. You can learn more about that below.
At Bellevue Baptist Church, in addition to general missional giving to agencies such as Baptist World Aid and Crossover, we support the mission work of a Zambian Pastor with whom we’ve developed a relationship.
Additionally, we support Narelle Barnsley, who works with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Narelle is currently working with a remote people group in Papua New Guinea, learning and analysing the local language to enable translation of the Bible into the local dialect.
The church also supports a Compassion child.
